Tai Chi Chuan
About Tai Chi Chuan:
Considered one of the most fundamental of the
Chinese Martial Arts, Tai Chi Chuan is a popular style practiced in countries
all over the world.
With movements
based on simple and intricate techniques, when practiced on a regular basis Tai
Chi Chuan can help to provide a wide range of positive benefits such as: overall
improved health, reducing stress, helping to prevent many types of illness,
improved vitality and endurance as well as better balance and flexibility.
Aside from the many
positive health benefits of Tai Chi Chuan, the various movements and forms can
also be applied as a practical Self-Defence.
What to wear:
Comfortable
loose-fitting clothing is recommended, such as shorts or sweatpants and T-shirt.
For footwear, it is recommended to wear a comfortable sport-style shoe with a
flat bottom (such as a Badminton style of shoe), which will allow for good
balance and ease of performing the various movements.

Chuan Instructor:
“Sifu” Phyboon Cheng, from China, has been a long time and dedicated
practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan. He is a member of the Hong Kong Martial Arts
Association and is a Certified Instructor of Tai Chi Chuan.
